Mindbody and MarianaTek don't expose public APIs for independent studios. Starch connects via browser automation — it logs into your owner portal on a schedule and pulls attendance, class fill rates, member billing status, and new-lead lists. You get the data in Starch's database and can build any report, retention alert, or automation on top of it. ClubReady, Wodify, and Zen Planner work the same way.
Can I build a member churn early-warning system?
Yes, and it's one of the most-requested builds. Describe the logic: 'any member whose visit frequency drops 40% below their 90-day average, and who hasn't booked a class in the next 7 days, gets flagged and I get a daily digest with a drafted check-in text.' Starch wires it to your Mindbody data and your phone or email. You approve sends or let it auto-send based on a confidence threshold.
How does lead follow-up work?
Most studios lose leads in the gap between a trial booking and the first class. The CRM app pulls new leads from your booking platform, Instagram DMs (via browser automation), and your website form.
